Art in the Snowy Mountains

Art is a strong theme in Tumbarumba, and artists come from all over the country to paint the spectacular landscapes, bushscapes and mountainscapes of the western slopes of the Snowy Mountains. A co -operative of local artists runs the Artists on Parade Gallery in the main street where you can view a wide variety of local art.

Sketching, painting, photography . . . whatever your medium, whatever your passion, you can find the solitude and inspiration to make your heart soar with artistic delight.

The light is crystal clear and inspiring and the mountains will capture your pencils, chalks and brushes from dawn until dusk. Take a deep breath and plunge in, the results will impress even you.
